On 26th July in 2018, the 9th China Yangtze River Three Gorges International Tourism Festival launched in Chongqing. 14 counties in Chongqing enjoys the festival and 50 nationwide mass media participated in the related activities.
The media crew visited the Wanzhou Grand Waterfall on 27th July, and natural landscape, as well as the thunderous sound, impressed them a lot. The crew enjoyed the journey even under the roasting heat.

“The fall shocked me much. I am more excited to visit other scenic spots of Three Gorge International Tourism Festival”, says Yi Yang, a correspondent of Yunnan Daily. After visiting the waterfall, he indicated that he would look forward to other scenic spots during the Three Gorges tour.
“The unique landscape of a 360°panorama sight viewing is so impressive that it should reach more visitors”, says Nianqing Zhang, a correspondent of Beijing Youth Daily, “It deserves the title, the No.1 waterfall in Asia.”
Wanzhou, an 1800-year-honored district, which becomes the important node, embracing the Bachu culture, immigrant culture, Three Gorges culture，etc. It also enjoys many naturally and culturally scenic spots, such as Wanzhou Grand Falls(万州大瀑布群), the Tanzhang Gorge（潭獐峡）, Bell Tower on Xishan Mountain（西山钟楼）, etc., including 10 National Tourist Attractions.
Located 30 km away to the downtown Wanzhou District, Wanzhou Grand Waterfall is the central scenic spot, becoming the No.1 (the widest) waterfall in Asia. It covers 9739.5m2, with 151m wide and 64.5m high. The waterfall serves two exciting highlights to visitors: the extraordinary rainbow on a clear day, and the 360°panorama sight viewing.
The scenic area of waterfall indicated that they were preparing for upgrading the facilities and management, making an industry of entertainment building, folk-custom experience, and culture exhibition. The Wanzhou Grand Waterfall will become an attractive tourist destination along the Three Gorges tour.
The media crew will visit Yunyang, Wushan, Fengjie etc. to gain insight into counties along the Yangtze River to the Three Gorges, promoting the Three Gorges tour by the real-time, systematized, multi-channel, and multi-formed way.
