Chongqing is Ready for SCE 2018

The first Smart China Expo (SCE 2018) is about to begin on August 23^rd to 25^th. In the streets and alleys of Chongqing, the municipality in southwest China, all walks of life have completed the preparation for SCE.

At the entry into the main venue, a row of temporary service areas stand there, and they contain full-process services, such as check-in and inquiry, for exhibitors, guests and visitors.

The whole main venue, covering an area of 180,000m², is divided into 5 exhibition areas. At present, all exhibitors have already entered the exhibition, and the decoration of the entire venue is finished.

The first smart town built outside the venue gets ready for visitors. Upon its completion, the entire experience zone will be reserved for one year. Citizens can go to the town to experience the smart life in a “future city”, which will be realized in the foreseeable future.

Intelligent facilities such as self-service vending machines and rental charging equipment have also been set up to facilitate visitors and exhibitors. Medical and cooling services are taken into consideration in case of hot weather in Chongqing.

Transportation

Employees at railway stations in Chongqing have got training for good guide services.

As for rail transit, Line 10 adds two more trains than usual every day to meet the increasing demand of visitors to the expo center. And equipment maintenance personnel are on site as long as there are emergencies to deal with.

Logos of SCE on taxis add more atmosphere for the upcoming event.

Volunteers

Volunteers have started their service for SCE. In the railway stations, they guide visitors and offer help in time. In tourist attractions, they briefly introduce local culture and history, as well as information about SCE. In the main venue, dressed in blue T-shirts, they are ready to help anyone who needs help at SCE.
