Build a national Information Security Industrial City ,with more than 100,000 residents and RMB 100 billion output value, official of Hechuan District of Chongqing announced that huge plan at the press conference of Smart China Expo, on August 25.
Located in the north part of Chongqing Municipality, Hechuan District is a key point of the Belt and Road Initiative and the Yangtze River Economic Zone. At present, Hechuan is making great effort in developing the information security industry, and building new industrial parks, of which the value will reach RMB 100 billion.
Hechuan has been a strategic point in history since ancient times. Nowadays, the good location of this land is facilitating the transformation and upgrading of the traditional industries. In 2016, Hechuan District planned an area of 22 square kilometers to build the Information Security Industrial City, which connects Chongqing and Chengdu, the two largest and economically most vibrant cities of Southwest China.
It is expected that by 2021, in Hechuan it will form an RMB 100 billion-level cluster of information technology industry, and become a national information security industry base which covers aspects of production, study, research and application.
It is worth mentioning that in order to attract the talents, Hechuan has made perfect infrastructure for the Information Security Industrial City. It is estimated that more than 100,000 people will become residents of it.
For an ecological-friendly and sustainable development, Hechuan has also emphasized the environmental protection, and the original landscape and riverside routes near the Industrial City are perfectly preserved.
In addition, Hechuan is making great effort in integrating the resources, in order to cultivate a complete industrial chain.
For instance, it has formed an integrated system of government support, technological support, industrial application, education and training, operation management, and financing security.
With insights into the era of Internet of Everything, Hechuan is making its way into the promising industry of information security and directing all the resources to it. And it is expected that it will develop into a highland of China for information security industry.
