A new Plan of Chongqing City Comprehensive Management Promotion （abbreviated as plan）claimed by Chongqing municipal government recently has highlighted the good wishes of Chongqing to be a cleaner city with more beautiful scenery, as well as a place that better for living and traveling. The plan pointed out the following actions will be fully implemented in next 6 months with obvious outcomes in the following year, distinctive changes and promotion in next 3 and 5 years. This essay will analyze the plan as following three parts.
Downtown Chongqing
Facilitating Revolution of Washrooms
The plan calls for an improvement in public restrooms. In order to make a good public washroom system, it says the government would add 720 washrooms in downtown Chongqing within 2019.
Governing the Illegal Issues
Removing dirt on walls and eliminating hawkers without licenses. The law-enforcing department will establish temporary operation standard management in assessment area, and investigate and punish illegal construction stacking as well as burning in the open air in non-designated areas. By 2020, downtown Chongqing will be estimated to eliminate these illegal issues above.
More Green, More Parks
It says 300 parks would be added before 2022 according to the plan. Downtown Chongqing will have new green land for about more than 30 million square meters in terms of the plan. The new parks include community parks, sports parks, biological parks, and wetland parks.
In other words, the green land rate of the built-up area of the main city would reach 40%, and the green coverage rate would reach more than 45%. Demonstrated from the plan, it would achieve the goal of more green with blossoms in all seasons.
