On the morning of November 10, the tranquil Chongqing Laixi River between green hills was transformed into the track for a fierce triathlon. The Paddle Board Group of the 2018 China Chongqing-Rongchang Kabrathon Triathlon Open took place here.

More Than 100,000 Players Have Engaged in
Guided by the sportsmanship of “Discovery, Challenge, Optimism and Integration”, this is a new triathlon combined with canoeing, mountain biking and cross-country running. It is a comprehensive reflection of challenging, participation and appreciation. As of 2018, more than 100,000 players have engaged in the international sports.
Held in Rongchang District, Chongqing, it attracted over 700 professional outdoor players from 13 countries. The event includes Kabrathon Group, Mountain Biking Group and Paddle Board Group.

Both the starting point and ending point are set up in Wanling Ancient Town, featuring “bridges, creeks and houses”. This town is historically famous as the water wharf, and the hometown of numerous talents. Furthermore, it is also a special scenic spot that has been known far and wide, as well as is crowded with visitors.

During the interview, Tan Minghua—the winner of Paddle Board Group—smiled at the reporter, “Compared with the competitions I have participated in, the track in Rongchang District is of antique beauty. The compact layout also makes me comfortable.” He also expressed that he was not surprised by the result of the first prize.
