The space solar power station is a power generation system that builds solar power stations in Earth orbit, collects solar energy, and provides continuous power to the ground through wireless transmission.

The first phase of the project will cost about RMB 100 million, with a total construction area of about 200 mu(13.33 hectares). The core test area is about 106 mu, including the space test site, balloon platform debugging hall and laboratory building. The peripheral isolation area is about 94 mu, planting spaceship-carried plants.
