The event hosts are Publicity Department of Beibei District Committee of Communist Party of China, Chongqing Daily News Group and Hainan Airlines. Moreover, it is under the guidance of the Information Office of Chongqing Municipal People’s Government, Chongqing Transport Bureau and Chongqing Airport Group.
The sub-events, including the opening ceremony, performances and family activity, offered an opportunity for locals to experience French culture.

Leaders from the event hosts and directors pressed the buttons to signal the opening of China-France Cultural Exchange Week.
November 19 this year marks the debut of the direct flight between Chongqing and Paris, which promotes trade and tourism. Additionally, Beibei District in downtown Chongqing is a part of it.

Performances
Performances for the Saturday event at the Chongqing Beibei Wanda Plaza have brought many citizens, young and old, together. Songs, dances and acrobatics won applauses a lot.
Near the stage, there were rich activities for participants to explore and experience. International delicacies impressed foodies’ taste buds. There were intangible heritage items such as stone painting and cloth art, as well as pottery-made and other activities.

French Culture Experience
Family activity represented a wonderful cultural journey for parents and children. At the reading salon, a foreign teacher was reciting an excerpt of The Little Prince by the famous French writer and poet of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, in French. Pig Pecs attracted little friends here and inspired them more to participate in other relevant activities. At the scene, dozens of children took part in the drawing as a gift for the cultural week.

Fly with Chongqing is the theme of Chongqing international air routes publicity, which lasts one month. Its online and offline activities are designed to show that Chongqing is more and more opening to the rest of the world.
