Chongqing Cultural Tourism Consumption Season Starts with Gift Packs 10 Million

The 3rd Chongqing Cultural Tourism Consumption Season (hereinafter referred to as the Consumption Season) will kick off on December 25. During the three-month event, Chongqing will launch cultural tourism gift packs worth nearly RMB 10 million. As for tourists, they can enjoy the charm of Chongqing and experience the Bayu culture.

12 large-scale and well-designed cultural tourism activities

Themed with the “Taste the Bayu Culture, Enjoy A Better Life”, the Consumption Season is sponsored by the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development, and hosted by the culture and tourism management departments of various districts and counties (autonomous counties) and Chongqing Performance Arts Group.

It is planned to organize 12 large-scale and well-designed cultural tourism activities, including the Bayu Travel Notes—Boutique Passport Collection, the Chongqing E-sports League Finals & the E-sports Carnival, the “Passions for Bayu—Display of Hanfu” Competition, the 7th Chongqing Performance Season, the 11th China (Chongqing) Stone Culture Expo, the Golden Autumn Book Fair, and the Stamp Collections Appreciation  Conference.

During the Consumption Season, the main event will be held in Nanchuan District on December 25. Based on the “Cultural Tourism Market”, it will to display and promote the boutique distinctive culture, traditional handicrafts, tourist attractions, and tourism products of all districts and counties in Chongqing.

For instance, you can taste free food, issue coupons (discount coupons), and experience cultural tourism products. In addition, it is also designed to hold simultaneously the “A City of Sparkling Humanities, A Land of Natural Beauty” Painting, Calligraphy and Photography Joint Exhibition, the 20th Jinfo Mountain Ice and Snow Festival experience activity, the “Literature and Art Banquet—Grand Performances in Nanchuan” artistic performance, etc.

These activities are the deep integration of culture and tourism. The districts and counties of Chongqing will carry out the variety of activities.

To share the gift packs with more participants, the Consumption Season will adopt a combination of online/offline preferential modes.
