On February 14, the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development issued a piece of news. The 2019 Aerospace Carnival will open at Longxing Base of Chongqing General Aviation Company in Yubei District from February 20. Lasting until June, the event covers nine projects in the aerospace area, such as eating, playing and watching. Moreover, visitors can take the helicopter to enjoy the splendid landscape of Chongqing.
The Aerospace Carnival offers citizens a panoramic view of Chongqing by helicopter
As an attempt to combine tourism and industrial tourism, the carnival has generated a new form—aviation tourism. Through the publicity of the culture and idea of this form, it has developed a new leisure lifestyle. There will be three promotion themes launched each month. They are aviation tourism visual season, aerospace exhibition season and aviation tourism professional season.
Citizens and tourists can experience a helicopter ride at the Aerospace Carnival
Currently, each flight lasts 5-10 minutes. Tourists will then get a panoramic view of overlapping peaks, winding rivers and expressways, and magnificent buildings.
Other relevant activities there
Additionally, there are other relevant activities at the Aerospace Carnival. They can visit the helicopter workshop and assembly, as well as various helicopters. The carnival will also offer helicopter shows to the citizens, who can, therefore, take to the sky by helicopter. Besides visiting the aerospace virtual reality science fiction museum, they can participate in interaction in the simulator and lift-off vehicle. This event also provides them with exquisite aerospace-related packages.
People can take the helicopter across the city
The delicious food for the pilot is also available for lunch. Tourists can watch the powered parachute show and aerial photography exhibition as well. Being a participant in the hot air balloon and drone, as well as the model plane exhibition, is another choice. There will be mobile cabins, tents, sightseeing vehicles, and the pilot museum exhibition. And part of air routes will make their debut.
Also, people can see the green plants in the air
Chongqing Star Aviation Tourism Corporation will open routes from Chongqing to Leibo, Pengshui, Yunyang, Chengkou, and Chishui in early March.
