On February 21, Beibei District held the Centralized Signing and Commencement Ceremony of the First Batch of Key Projects in 2019. Meanwhile, the contract amount of 19 key projects reached RMB 24.59 billion, including the “Z-Work” of Zhubajie Network Co., Ltd. In addition, they also included Beibei Suning Square and Beishan Culture Creativity Center. With 22 key projects launched together, the total planned investment was RMB 9.055 billion. They covered three major fields of key industries, key infrastructure, and key livelihood projects.

RECTECH and HP have joined hands to set up the HP 3D Printing Global Manufacturing Center in Chongqing. It will combine HP’s most advanced 3D printing system with the industrial chain in Chongqing and even around the world. In the meantime, it aims to build HP’s largest 3D printing workshop in the world.

The RECTECH 3D Printing Additive Manufacturing Smart Eco-City Project has settled in Caijia area. It will build an additive manufacturing center, an industrial manufacturing process research center, and other centers. They include an R&D and trial production center for new products and an innovative design and application center. There are also an R&D and manufacturing center for core equipment and metal powder. Moreover, they also include an integrated industry-university-research technology exchange center and a school of additive manufacturing technology.

“Taking the signing of the project as an opportunity, we will further increase our investment in Chongqing,” said Luo Jiyi. As General Manager of RECTECH, he thought that it will take several years to introduce world-class 3D enterprises to Chongqing. Furthermore, the 3D products “made in Chongqing” will finally be world-renowned.

It aims to build HP’s largest 3D printing workshop in the world. The workshop will serve such fields as IT, medical treatment, automobile, and aerospace in Chongqing and around the world. Moreover, its products cover fields like personal consumer goods, artificial intelligence, industrial manufacturing, and aerospace.
Luo also said that in the future, they would successively introduce world-class 3D enterprises to Chongqing in groups. They include the DM (ranking the first worldwide in metal 3D printing), Stratasys, and Materialise.
