The 23rd Chongqing Urban Tourism Festival & Intercity Tourism Trade Fair kicks off

Chongqing- The 23rd Chongqing Urban Tourism Festival & Intercity Tourism Trade Fair (abbreviated as Tourism Festival and Fair below) will kick off on March 28 and last until March 30. The event will be held at Chongqing International Convention and Exhibition Center as well as Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street. Moreover, the Tourism Festival and Fair will focus on “innovative development and multi-industrial integration” as the theme.

Chongqing International Marathon Sports Industry Expo 2019 will kick off at the same time

There will be two events held at the same time on the Tourism Festival and Fair.  One is in Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street,  several foreign consulates will represent their travel resources, and Chongqing will promote the local tourism resources too.

International tourism resources will achieve the public on the event

Besides, the Chongqing International Marathon Sports Industry Expo 2019 will kick off at the same time. Visitors can purchase sports products from different top brands there.

On March 27, several masters of the tourism industry will attend a forum on the Tourism Intercity Trade Fair, at the Westin Chongqing Liberation Square in Jiefangbei,  the development of the tourism industry of Chongqing is the top topic.

A series of activities are available

About 1,000 tour travel products on great discount available on the fair from travel agencies of Chongqing, offering plenty of choices for the travelers. 

There will be a series of activities on the occasion, the pottery making of Rongchang Chongqing will be one. 

Besides, there will be performances of folk culture all around the world. For example, visitors can enjoy the show about Japanese taiko drum, and get a deeper understanding on the traditional Chinese culture, as the traditional intangible cultural heritage of Rongchang District – pottery, ramie, and folding fans. Moreover, Yu Xiaohua, an heir of the intangible cultural heritage skills, will carve ink slabs on the spot.
