The 2018 Construction21 “Green Solutions Awards” has been held for six consecutive years. Since the seal of Paris Agreement in 2015, the parties concerned have identified the “Green Solutions Awards” as one of the important activities of the United Nations Climate Change Conference in the field of the sustainable development of cities and buildings. The event has attracted international attention and recognition. There are over 140 projects from 11 countries in this competition, in which 8 ones from China entered in the shortlist for international awards.

The project of “Chongqing House” has taken the landform, climate, and culture into full consideration. From the beginning of the project, the designers conducted sufficient field tests to obtain actual environmental data and analyze the effects of indoor environment design with big data technology. In addition, combined with urban characteristics and building demands, the project also utilized green building technology, fully satisfying people’s need for perceptible green buildings.
