The “Belt and Road” (Chongqing) Intelligent Experience Center began its trial operation on March 29.
Located in Yuzhong District, this 10-story building covers a total area of about 2,068 square meters. Composed of China Pavilion, Europe Pavilion, America Pavilion, SCO Pavilion, ASEAN Pavilion, Asia-Pacific Pavilion, Czech Republic Pavilion, etc., the center showcases the featured products of the countries along the “Belt and Road”.
Czech Republic Pavilion: the art crystal as the present for state guests
As the Exhibition Hall stands on the first floor, the second floor is the Czech Republic Pavilion with various crystals. There are more than 400 exhibits, including such crystal items as necklaces and earrings, and household supplies like wine set and fruit bowls, and crystal artworks.

This “transparent gold” embodies the elaborate design and making of craftsmen.
There are numerous handmade products of Halama Art Crystal, a company founded in 1932 by Frantisek Halama, known as the “Father of Sculpture Crystal ”. Chosen as the manufacturer of presents for state guests in the Czech Republic, it has a number of products treasured.
SCO Pavilion: the overseas student as the guide
SCO Pavilion is named after Shanghai Cooperation Organization, a Eurasian political, economic, and security alliance.
Situated on the fifth floor, the pavilion displays characteristic products such as the imperial porcelain from Russia’s Saint Petersburg.

The exquisite porcelain made by Imperial Porcelain Factory was only available in the State Hermitage Museum and State Historical Museum. Nowadays, however, tourists can appreciate the imperial porcelain in the center, and can even buy what they love.
Louis, a third-year postgraduate at Chongqing University from Uzbekistan, has been in China for over two years. “I’m a big fan of Chinese culture, and the experience of working here can also deepen my understanding of the ‘Belt and Road’ Initiative.”

The entry into the ninth-floor China Pavilion will bring visitors a view of the Chinese-style wooden screen. Seen through the round window in the middle, furnishings are full of antique flavor.
The Grass-Cloth Rongchang Folding Fan joins China's Pavilion
The pavilion is also the showcase of China’s characteristic commodities like porcelain, tea and paper cutting, as well as smart products of home devices and children’s products. It now welcomes a new member—Grass-Cloth Rongchang Folding Fan, which fully reflects the Chinese style.
Moreover, Asia-Pacific Pavilion on the fourth floor shows Thailand’s latex products and Malaysia’s coffee. Korea’s beauty products and New Zealand’s Manuka honey are exhibits in the third-floor Asia-Pacific Pavilion.
