New Routes for the Two-River Cruise Enables Tourists to Enjoy 12 Landscapes in One Hour

Officially put into use in the Ninth Chaotianmen Dock on April 2, the two-river cruise ship named “Chaotian Moon”  is 68.88 meters long and 18 meters wide, with the capacity up to 500 passengers. The four-storied ship is the third one in the series of “Chaotian”.

The new ship owns domestic sewage collection tanks, atmospheric emission reduction facilities, and technical systems like electric stoves and the shore power use, which enables it to meet the latest “zero” discharge standards for water pollution and energy conservation requirements.

In addition to free Wi-Fi, the two-river cruise ship also integrates traditional culture into its service projects. Tourists can enjoy performances such as the Sichuan Opera Face Changing, Long Spout Teapot Tea-Making Performance, and traditional calligraphy on the ship for free.

While the new ship is put into use, the new line of the “golden triangle” boutique tour launched by Chongqing Changjiang Shipping Co., Ltd. officially came out and was firstly operated by “Chaotian Moon”. On the basis of the traditional classic lines of Liangjiang tour, this new line extends to sail in the direction of the Changjiahui and Chaotianmen Bridge for 13 kilometers in 1 hour, giving visitors more time to appreciate more beautiful scenery.

Twelve Landscapes along the Route of “Chaotian Moon”

  1. Huguang Guild Hall - a large-scale, simple and elegant architectural complex integrating the migration culture and guild hall culture.
  2. Nanbin Road - known as “Chongqing Bund”.
  3. Yangtze River Cableway - known as the “First Air Corridor across the Yangtze River”, and the “Air Bus in Mountain City”.
  4. Ciyun Temple along the Yangtze River - China’s only Buddhist temple with both monks and nuns.
  5. French Navy Barracks combining Chinese and Western elements.
  6. Six representative bridge landscapes in Chongqing - the “Bridge Capital of China”: Chongqing Yangtze River Bridge, Caiyuanba Bridge, Dongshuimen Bridge, Chaotianmen Bridge, Qiansimen Bridge, and Huanghuayuan Bridge.
  7. Chongqing Changjiahui - French Navy Barracks, Danzishi Subdistrict.
  8. Chaotianmen - Chongqing’s iconic landscape, and cultural symbol.
  9. The confluence of the Yangtze River and Jialing River.
  10. Chongqing modern classic architectural landscapes such as Raffles - Chongqing Grand Theater, Chongqing Science and Technology Museum, and the architectural complex in the financial center of Jiangbeizui CBD.
