661 Chongqing-ASEAN Regular Lorries Departed from China (Chongqing) Pilot Free Trade Zone

Ushering in the 2nd Anniversary of China (Chongqing) Pilot Free Trade Zone, Chongqing-ASEAN Regular Lorry has achieved 661 departures, forming a cross-border road transport network covering Southeast Asia.

A through route to Singapore

On December 6, 2018, loaded with supermarket equipment, the container trucks of Chongqing-ASEAN Regular Lorry from Chongqing Nanpeng Highway Bonded Logistics Center (Type B) directly arrived at Singapore.

This marks the opening of the farthest cross-border road transport of Chongqing-ASEAN Regular Lorry.

The longest route of Chongqing-ASEAN Regular Lorry has a total length of about 4,500km to Singapore

Taking about 7 days, it is the longest route of Chongqing-ASEAN Regular Lorry with a total length of about 4,500 kilometers, marking the full coverage of Indochina Peninsula by the cross-border road transport network of Chongqing-ASEAN Regular Lorry.

The transport network covering Southeast Asia

According to Chongqing Traffic, in April 2016, Chongqing-ASEAN Regular Lorry opened its first route. At present, it has opened several routes such as the eastern route, the eastern double route, the middle route, the western route, and the Asia-Europe route, and its service network has covered most of the economic and political central cities in Southeast Asia.

It has opened several routes, including the eastern route (Nanpeng, Chongqing — Pingxiang, Guangxi — Hanoi, Vietnam), the eastern double route (Nanpeng, Chongqing — Qinzhou Port, Guangxi — ASEAN countries), the middle route (Nanpeng, Chongqing — Bangkok, Thailand), the western route (Nanpeng, Chongqing — Ruili, Yunnan — Yangon, Myanmar), the Asia-Europe route (Vietnam — Nanpeng, Chongqing — Tuanjie Village, Chongqing — Duisburg), and the Chongqing — Singapore route.

Chongqing-ASEAN Regular Lorry completed the gradual establishment of its overseas distribution warehouses in June 2018. In addition, its self-provided containers were put into use in last August.

A total of 661 departures

Chongqing-ASEAN Regular Lorry has now covered the first and second-tier cities in countries like Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia, Malaysia (some regions), and Singapore, boasting more than 20 domestic and foreign partners for cooperation.

With nearly 30 distribution warehouses in Southeast Asia available for customers, it is building itself into an international full-service road freight platform.

According to the information from Chongqing Traffic, by the end of 2018, it has achieved 661 departures with a total weight of 5,600 tons and a total cargo value of about RMB 736 million.
