Jinkang SERES Intelligent Factory of Sokon (abbreviated as Jinkang SERES below) in Liangjiang New Area started production on April 10. On the same day, it also played the host to the worldwide debut of the new SF5 electric vehicle.

Made in Chongqing, this intelligent electric vehicle not only looks impressive but also features high performance. Equipped with a dual-motor intelligent four-wheel-drive system developed by Jinkang SERES, the vehicle can maximize the power up to 510kW and the torque to 1,040Nm. As the power can easily outweigh numerous 4.0T V8 engines, the maximum speed can reach 250km/h, and the vehicle can accelerate to the speed of 100 kilometers/h within 3.5 seconds.
Before the debut, the SF5 has just completed an “impossible journey”. 10 SF5 vehicles finished the round trip, more than 6,000 kilometers, from Chongqing to Tibet. With the elevation changing from 200 meters to over 5,000 meters, and the temperature from 20 degrees Celsius to minus 15 degrees Celsius, the SF5 had no “altitude reaction” and performance degradation.

No charging throughout the whole journey owes to the self-developed high-performance range extender installed in the vehicle. Amounting to an “engine” added, it can completely solve the difficulty of electric vehicles in charging.
