In response to the policy of providing convenience for entry-exit personnel from the countries/regions along the BRI formulated by the National Immigration Administration (NIA), Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport, as one of the first batch of ports, set up the Belt and Road Lane at the site of immigration inspection since April 28. This move would create a more convenient and efficient customs environment for the implementation of the BRI.

Appointed by the NIA, the aviation port in Chongqing serves as one of the first batch of ports setting up the Belt and Road Lane, together with the other 11 ones in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Xiamen, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Kunming, Urumchi, Zhengzhou, Xi’an, and Quanzhou, as well as the six land border ports in Manzhouli, Erenhot, Horgos, Friendship Pass, Dongxing, and Mohan.

From April 28 onwards, Belt and Road Lane would be set at the immigration inspection in Terminal 3 of Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport, in order to provide convenience and simplified procedures for domestic/foreign personnel engaging in key projects of BRI or participating in BRI-related conferences and activities.

Exit-entry passengers eligible to use the Lane can handle the procedures at the entry and exit hall.
