Guide to the WCIFIT Exhibition

Chongqing- The 2nd Western China International Fair for Investment and Trade (WCIFIT) will open on May 16 at the Chongqing International Expo Center in Yubei District, and all preparations and exhibition arrangements are now in place.

Here is a guide to the WCIFIT, covering its exhibitions, activities, traffic lines to the scene, and entry requirements.

8 exhibitions halls 

Covering an exhibition area of 110,000 square meters, this WCIFIT enjoys Charming Western China Cooperation Exhibition Area, International Cooperation Exhibition Area, New Land-Sea Corridor Cooperation Exhibition Area, Pilot Free Trade Zones Exhibition Area, Regional Cooperation Exhibition Area, Transnational Corporations Exhibition Area, Central Enterprises and State-owned Enterprises Exhibition Area and Well-known Private Enterprises Exhibition Area.

Hall N1 includes exhibition zones for guest countries of honor, such as Hungary and Uruguay, member countries of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), and countries with their embassies and consulates in Chengdu and Chongqing, in which various featured products will be showcased and interactive activities and cultural exchanges launched.

The Chongqing Comprehensive Exhibition Zone in Hall N1 will display the important measures and achievements of Chongqing to actively serve and boost the national strategy, which focuses on a city with dual geographical importance working to achieve twin goals and parallel progress in its growth strategy proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping for Chongqing and the important instructions and requirements of giving full play to the three roles, and combines four advantages of the city.

Hall N2 covers exhibition zones for guest provinces of honor and other provinces and cities of China.

The exhibition zones for Fortune Global 500 and transnational corporations are in Hall N3, embracing numerous cutting-edge products from enterprises such as China Petrochemical Corporation, China National Petroleum Corporation, China Energy Investment Corporation, China Railway Group Limited, China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, China Post Group, China Railway Construction Corporation Limited, China Merchants Group, and China Poly Group Corporation Limited.

The exhibition zones for central enterprises, state-owned enterprises and well-known private enterprises are distributed in Hall N4/N6, comprising China South Industries Group Corporation, China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation, CRRC Corporation Limited, China Metallurgy, Beijing Hyundai Motor Company Corporation, Chang’an Automobile (Group) Co., Ltd. and Chongqing Sokon Industry Group Co., Ltd., and the Belt and Road (Chongqing) Intelligent Experience Center.

Hall N5/N7/N8 cover the exhibition zones for districts/counties of Chongqing, open platforms, and surrounding cities of Chongqing including Nanchong, Neijiang, Luzhou, Liangshan, Guang’an Dazhou, Bazhong, Changdu, etc.

Moreover, there are 53 activities of investment, trade and cultural exchanges in various forms during this WCIFIT, including the Western Asia Open Summit, Asia300 Global Business Forum Chongqing Summit, the BRI Annual Meeting of Overseas Chinese Business Organizations, the activities of 2019 Tour in Chongqing of Central Enterprises, the China (Chongqing) International Cooperation Forum on New Energy Vehicle Industry, and the Exchange Conference of Pilot Free Trade Zones.

Transportation

Bus: No. 572, 965, 635 and 685, and the special line to the Chongqing International Expo Center

Two direct rail transit lines:

Take the International Expo Line, the branch line of the CRT Line 6 and get off at International Expo Center Station

Take the CRT Line 10, get out of Exit 1 at the Yuelai Station, and walk for about 500 meters (about 8 minutes).

Shuttle buses: During the WCIFIT, there will be shuttle buses running between the venues in the Chongqing International Expo Center, which will stop at the south registration hall, the north registration hall, and all intersections.

Entry requirements

Those who have registered online can enter the center directly by face scanning at the entrance of the north registration hall, and those who are the unregistered need to scan the QR code to register before entering the center. This WCIFIT will be open to the public for free.

Food and beverage

On the second floor of Hall N1 in the northern area of the Chongqing International Expo Center, food and beverage are available.
