Two White Papers Released by Huawei Accelerate the Building of a Digital Chongqing

On May 30, Huawei Chongqing Intelligent City Summit with the theme of Intelligent Evolution · Changeable Platform was held successfully in Auwi Hotel Chongqing. At the summit, the release of Huawei White Paper on Capacity Opening of New ICT Technologies (Chongqing) and Huawei White Paper on ICT Talent Ecology (Chongqing) meant that Huawei had brought leading digital platforms and modern digital transformation methodologies to Chongqing. The goal of this summit is to join hands with its customers and partners to provide a new driving force for building a digital Chongqing.

Currently, Chongqing is vigorously implementing the action plan of innovation-driven development strategy led by the Big Data Intelligence. Luo Qingquan, Director of Chongqing Big Data Application and Development Administration, indicated that in his speech that it was necessary to accelerate the implementation of the Cloud Chief System and perfect the system/mechanism to manage the cloud, big data, and application competently. The digital industrialization and industry digitization need further promotion, and a new smart city needs in-depth construction, thus providing inexhaustible momentum for building a digital Chongqing. Huawei has cooperated with Chongqing in various aspects and injected new vitality into the rapid development of the city’s digital economy and the construction of a new smart city.

Digital technology is becoming the new engine of economic growth. Yang Ruikai, Deputy Chairman of Huawei said that the company focused on the ICT field and built an ICT infrastructure platform with collaborative client, connection and cloud through continuous digital technology input such as cloud computing, big data, Internet of Things (IoT) and 5G, making it a piece of fertile land for the growth of digital economy. To further deepen the cooperation with Chongqing and support the construction of Chongqing into a new smart city, Huawei hopes to work with ecological partners to enable the industrial digital transformation centered on the digital platform, thus providing a new driving force for the development of Chongqing’s digital economy.

At the summit, Chongqing Yubei People’s Government, Fengdu Municipal People’s Government, Chongqing University, Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Chongqing Cable Networks Co., Ltd., and Chongqing Industrial Empowered Innovation Center Co., Ltd. subordinate to Chongqing Machinery & Electronics Holding (Group) Co., Ltd. signed cooperation agreements with Huawei respectively. Huawei will give full play to the capability of its digital platforms and cooperate with its ecological partners to achieve more exceptional results.
