Chongqing IFS teamed up with züny, a creative feather band based in Taiwan, for the first time to launch the activity themed with Live Pop and Lavish Fun in Southwest China's Chongqing Municipality, July 6, 2019.

Visitors can enjoy themed interactive items, such as photo-taking, based on advanced digital devices. Every participation means a contribution to a panda conservation project relevant to Dujiangyan forestry center in Sichuan Province.

Selling a book Panda Qingqing from July 2nd to August 19th means that Chongqing IFS donates 20% of the price-418 yuan to the giant panda conservation program. Sales of the limited edition of merchandise launched on Tuesdays from July 23 to August 13th will be fully invested in the program.

The state-owned forestry center in Dujiangyan is one of the habitats of wild giant pandas, and the center is outside of the nature reserve for giant pandas. Workers there have carried out patrols and investigations to protect the local wild giant pandas. The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) provides technical support for the project implementation. Chongqing IFS shoulders its social responsibility and also raises funds through the themed event.

Representatives from züny, WWF and the panda reservation project in Dujiangyan all addressed at the event to call for more public participation for panda conservation.
