Chongqing - In 2018, the Chongqing Municipal People’s Government and Tsinghua Unigroup signed a strategic cooperation agreement and settlement in the Liangjiang New Area agreement. With the support of the municipal government and the Liangjiang New Area, intelligent security plus artificial intelligence, Unicloud (South) Headquarters, financial technology, global headquarters and design and development center for core chips of digital TV, mobile intelligent terminal chip design and development center and other projects are rapidly advancing.
Software-defined cameras exhibited at the Tsinghua Unigroup Innovation Experience Center in Chongqing Liangjiang New Area
On April 18 this year, Tsinghua Unigroup Chongqing Building in Liangjiang New Area opened for business. The building covers nearly 23,000 square meters of office space and almost 1,000 square meters of innovative experience center. Four subsidiaries of Tsinghua Unigroup and H3C Chongqing Office have been in the building.

Unisinsight digital factory located in Liangjiang New Area is aimed to become a large information-based intelligent manufacturing model factory. It mainly produces software-defined cameras, smart video analysis servers, massive picture and cloud storage, smart hard disk recorders, and other products.
Unicloud endeavors to create an ecosphere of industry internet with the digital economy and improve the high-quality development in Chongqing.
The Digital Chongqing Technology Co., Ltd., a joint venture of Unicloud and Liangjiang New Area, provides solutions and services for smart city, government cloud, and industrial cloud, to build Chongqing into a paragon of the smart city.
In addition, there is another subsidiary to provide financial information service.
H3C cooperates with relevant companies in the fields of smart rail, integrated urban rail cloud and intelligent security on the one hand, as well as in cloud computing, big data, IoT, information security and other technical fields.
Tsinghua Unigroup showcased its products at the first Smart China Expo, or SCE, from Aug 23 to 25, 2018, using a wall with over 100 chips for different scenarios, including System on Chip, the Internet of Things, and Field Programmable Gate Array, and displayed its cloud services for government administration, public security, online finance, medical imaging, and industry internet.
The 2019 Smart China Expo will take place from August 26-29 at the International Exhibition Center, and will boast an exhibition area of more than 150,000 m2. Visitors will enjoy free entrance and will be able to enjoy technology focused around the central topic of “Smart Technology: Empowering Economy, Enriching Life.” SCE 2019 will focus on the primary theme of Smart Technology and host a series of events, including conferences, exhibitions, contests, and forums.
