Chongqing - The 5th National Private Enterprise Cooperation Conference will be held in Qijiang District of Southwest China’s Chongqing Municipality from September 19 to 20, 2019, said Liu Fangmin, deputy director of Qijiang District People’s Government at a press conference Wednesday.

The 5th National Private Enterprise Cooperation Conference is themed with Innovation to Inspire Vitality, Cooperation for (a) Win-Win Future. The conference serves as a bridge between individual laborers and private enterprise associations, and a platform for private enterprise investment, government investment, and inter-enterprise business cooperation. It aims to promote the high-quality development of the private economy in Chongqing and the country at large.
During the conference, main events involve a summit forum, project promotion as well as cooperation and negotiation. Private enterprises and individual workers can deepen exchanges and collaboration and promote investment attraction to improve economic benefits. The National Private Enterprise Cooperation Conference covers the basic needs of enterprise development by integrating investment, trade, technology, services, information, and intellectual property rights. It has been successfully held for four consecutive years since 2015.
As of the end of July this year, there were more than 50,000 market entities in Qianjiang District, and private enterprises have become an essential force for local economic development.
Qianjiang District in southern Chongqing is an important node of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor. It takes about half an hour to the downtown of Chongqing. Qijiang has the largest electrolytic aluminum industry in Chongqing. At the same time, there is a planned 48-square-kilometer industrial park with a complete industrial cluster. The district will build a municipal-level high-tech industrial development zone, including a specially designed intelligent manufacturing park. Moreover, a team of more than 100,000 skilled industrial workers is based there.
