2019 “Smart China Cup” Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Started

Nationwide young entrepreneurs and venture teams working on big data and smart industries paid close attention to the 2019 “Smart China Cup." It's a Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition on Big Data and Smart Technology. As of July 30, the number of participants had reached 423.

Participants come from around the world

Competition is divided into three groups: domestic startups, growing startups, and foreign startups, attracting brilliant projects worldwide. Participants of the first two come from Beijing, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Wuhan, Chongqing, and other cities of China. There are also 20 companies from countries like the United States, the Netherlands, France, Singapore, Switzerland, and Malaysia, leading the competition into the international arena.

Participants will bring noteworthy products

The competition won extensive support and acclaim. For example, Lankoon UAV Technology, WorthCloud Technology, Shixiseng, and other domestically famous startups participated, plus ones from Chongqing such as Meishimeiche, Ka’erma Network, Chungsu Industry, and Jiahe Technology.

Foreign participants also have eye-catching resumes. Effortless Data Science & Machine Learning, from the United States, aims to improve the efficiency of robotic arms to reduce energy consumption and optimize automatic production. A cloud-connects biosensor for antibiotic residue discovery, from the Netherlands, can detect and identify antibiotic compounds in solution, and update results to the cloud database. It can be used for antibiotic test and in the pharmaceutical industry. Integrated Smart Manufacturing Platform, from Singapore, makes new attempts in predictive equipment maintenance, capacity planning, process optimization, and regular employee management, based on integrated automobile system. It is worth looking forward to products and services from participants leading the big data and smart industries.

Diversified projects focus on big data and smart industries

The semi-final will be held in early August and the final on August 28. All participants have chances to get entrepreneurship and policy support, and winners of the first, second, and third prizes in each group can get prize money ranging from 20,000 yuan to 100,000 yuan. An awards ceremony will be held on the Closing Ceremony of the 2019 Smart China Expo.
