The Cultural Industry Expo Opens in SW China’s Chongqing

Chongqing - The 8th Chongqing International Cultural Industry Expo opened in Chongqing on September 12, 2019. CQCIE 2019 attracts participants from 28 countries and regions, more than 20 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities, as well as 38 districts and counties of Chongqing. From Thursday till Sept. 15, visitors can go to the Chongqing International Expo Center to purchase international cultural products, appreciate art gallery and craftsmanship. Moreover, its entrance is for free.

CQCIE is hosted by Chongqing Daily News Group and serves as a cultural event in Chongqing. It has been successfully held for seven consecutive years since 2012.

During CQCIT, the 2019 China (Chongqing) Urban Culture Development Forum gathered many experts and scholars to focus on urban cultural development, and make suggestions for improving Chongqing's urban culture. Moreover, the project of  Kaizhou Hanfeng Lake International Ecological and Cultural Tourism Resort was signed with an investment of 14.1 billion yuan. It aims to build another landmark for tourism in Kaizhou District.

N3 Exhibition Pavilion

The exhibition area, consisting of five theme exhibition pavilions, covers 60,000 square meters. These five exhibition pavilions are N1 Share Cultures and Landscapes Hall of Achievements, N2 The Belt and Road Hall of World Cultures, N3 Hall of Culture and Traditional Crafts of China, N4 Trading Hall of Featured Cultural Industries and N6 Hall of Integrated and Innovative Cultural Arts.
