Chongqing Global Travel Agents Conference 2019 will be held from Nov.10 to 15 in Chongqing. Around 400 travel agents from over 30 countries and regions including the UK, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Australia, Singapore, Thailand have arrived in Chongqing to attend the conference. During the 6 days, they will also experience the charm of the gorgeous land in-depth.

As an important part of the conference, on Nov. 10, the group consisting of foreign travel agents started the Yangtze River Luxury Cruise Tour to get a bite of Chongqing’s rich tourism resources. In the following 3 days, they will visit Fengdu Ghost Town, Zhongxian County, Baidi City, Qutang Gorge, Wushan Small Three Gorges, Wu Gorge, Xiling Gorge, and Three Gorges Dam by cruise, which is a perfect route to observe Chongqing’s amazing natural landscape and experience its culture and history.

In the afternoon of Nov.10, the travel agents group got on the Century Diamond Cruise at Chaotianmen Dock, where the Yangtze River and Jialing River joined together. It would leave the dock around 9 pm so that the passengers could get the chance to see Chongqing’s fascinating night view.

As the night fell, the four banks of the two rivers put on illuminating light. The foreign guests came out to the deck, wowed at the beautiful city at night.

Leif Lonsmann in the group is a consultant of cultural exchange from Denmark, who helps to bring China’s culture to Denmark and vice versa. He visited China since the 1990s and this is his first time to Chongqing. He shared his thoughts on the trip with iChongqing. He said, “China is a mystery. Every time when I come I see something I don’t understand at all. But after meeting some people who explained to me, I would get new knowledge. I believe I will get new knowledge again after this trip.” Then he continued, “Chongqing is among one of the biggest cities in the world. The culture is extraordinarily great to me but mysterious. It will be surprises and surprises in the coming days.”
