The frequent economic cooperation and exchanges between China and Japan in recent years contribute to a further increase in aviation demand. At the press conference of the opening of Chongqing-Japan flight on November 20, Air China announced its plan to open the first direct flight from Chongqing to Japan on November 24.

Launch Ceremony of Air China's Chongqing-Tokyo Inaugral Flight
The flight number is CA433/4, one flight per day. It departs at 13:00 from Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport and lands in Narita Airport at 18:30 (local time). The return flight departs at 19:30 (local time) from Narita Airport and lands in Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport 23:45 (the actual flight shall prevail).
Initially, Air China will launch special offers, with a round trip for an economy class starting from RMB 1,000 on November 24-30, and a round trip for an economy class starting from RMB 1,200 and for business class from RMB 5,000 in December (all tax excluded). This preferential campaign promotes the hot sale of flight tickets, with seats close to being sold out within a week after the opening.
The flight marks Air China’s direct flights to six international and regional cities from Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport, including Tokyo, Dubai, Seoul, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. It also further strengthens economic and cultural exchanges between Chongqing and Tokyo, greatly facilitates business travelers between the two cities and boosts the tourism growth of the two places.
So far, Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport has opened 89 international (regional) airlines connecting Europe, the US, Australia, Asia, and Africa. The Chongqing-Tokyo direct flight shows the Airport’s efforts to build an international aviation hub by targeting the world’s major economic and business cities and countries with a population of over 100 million.
