On November 26, Airbus A320 of West Air, which served the PN6427 non-stop flight from Chongqing to Osaka, departed from Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport and smoothly landed at Kansai International Airport after roughly four hours of flying. It marks the successful opening of the Chongqing-Osaka flight.

Celebration of the direct flight in Chongqing International Airport

The Flight will be served by Airbus A320, with three departures every week. Passengers are welcomed to book the air ticket, select classes, and purchase baggage allowance according to their own needs.

From West Air, the opening of the new flight will bolster the cooperation and exchanges in economy, trade, culture, and tourism. It also provides tourists between the two regions with more choices and better service, thus further supporting Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport to build an international aviation hub.

Next, West Air will build on intensifying Chongqing-Osaka flight and the transfer capability of Chongqing’s international airport to offer passengers from China’s western, northeastern, and northern regions to transfer at Chongqing and leave for Japan. In addition, it will develop the aviation market from the cities of Southwest China to Osaka. West Air plans to coordinate parties concerned to conduct the market promotion and client organization, thus boosting China-Japan connectivity via air transportation. Furthermore, by ensuring the air transportation of passengers and goods between Chongqing and Osaka, it will achieve resource exchanges, win-win outcomes, and improving import and export trade of the two sides.
