338 African Guests Come to Join China (Chongqing) – Africa Cooperation Conference

Chongqing- On Dec. 3rd, 338 African guests including ambassadors from 29 African countries gathered in Chongqing to participate in China (Chongqing) - Africa Cooperation Conference. After meeting with Chen Min`er, the Secretary of Chongqing Municipal Party Committee in the morning, African guests attended the conference.

Martin Mpana, the head of the delegation delivered a speech and express his appreciation for the warm reception from the Chongqing government and his excitement about plenty of cooperation potential in different fields. He hopes to establish closer cooperation opportunities through this conference and the following events.

“Chongqing has shown great enthusiasm for cooperation with Africa”, said Mr. Mpana, “it is a great opportunity to visit Chongqing to promote future development in commerce, culture exchanges, and friendship cities” he indicated.

During a break in the conference, members of the African delegation paid their visit to the exhibition of local enterprises to seek business potential. Products from the machinery and automobile industry were demanding in African countries, some guests were really keen to know the details about Chongqing enterprises in those industries.
