2019 Chongqing International Half Marathon to Set Off on Dec. 8

2019 Chongqing International Half Marathon will kick off at the Square of People’s Government of Ba’nan District on December 8.

This event has pulled in 15,000-odd runners from 15 countries and regions such as the US, Canada, Russia, Ethiopia, and Kenya.

Items such as bib numbers, chips, and costumes will be given away at Chongqing Huaxi Cultural and Sports Center three days ahead of the event (Dec. 5-7).

There will be 24 medical stations, ten ambulances, 188 medical staff members, and 220 medical observation volunteers along the track to ensure safety. In addition, four designated hospitals will provide competitors in need of medical services without delay.

Moreover, two beds will be arranged at Gongmen Medical Station at the ending point, with 30 defibrillators and 26 first-aid runners in response to possible emergencies.
