Cultural Attractions Added in Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport’s T3A Terminal

After the second transformation and upgrading, there are additional characteristic cultural tourist attractions in Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport’s T3A Terminal, where passengers can appreciate the charming Chongqing.

Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport’s T3A Terminal added new cultural attractions.

On December 8, Ms. Wang, who was going to fly to Shanghai, couldn’t help taking photos with her friends everywhere, as her eyes were drawn to compelling “scenic spots” upon her arrival at the airport.

Passengers can appreciate the charming Chongqing at Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport.

This is the second transformation and upgrading of T3A based on its first one, which strengthens the image of “A Land of Natural Beauty, A City with Cultural Appeal,” enhances its cultural taste and improves the traveling experience of passengers. This move involves 45 areas and spots from L1 to L5, covering five aspects of regional culture, food culture, air route ads, cultural photography, and beautiful Chongqing.

“In terms of specific design, we have copied the characteristic buildings in such hot scenic spots as Diaoyu Fortress (Hechuan District), Chongqing’s old buildings during the period of opening the commercial port, Hongyadong, and CRT train running through high-rise buildings into the terminal building in a way that is scaled down with new materials, so that passengers can experience the unique charm of the mountain city.” A principal of the Airport said that those “scenic spots” pulled in a large number of camera-wielding passengers upon their completion.

The “Twelve Landscapes of Chongqing” are the highlight of this upgrading. The high-definition colorful glass stickers with the words “CKG” and “WELCOME” put on the literary and artistic glass corridor in the arrival hall are especially dazzling in the sunlight. Looking at the airport apron through the glass, passengers will see a different scene.

Moreover, the Airport’s 91 international/regional routes are divided into four major parts: Asia, Europe, Oceania, and North America. Based on the two themes of “Present” and “Baggage · Chance” implying happiness and expectations, the three-dimensional artistic devices are adopted incorporating flight type, destination, tour resource, food culture, and folk customs, thus expressing people’s desire for a happy life.
