Chongqing - On December 23, the launching ceremony of “Convergence of Chongqing” activity and Chongqing city marketing evening show opened in Danzishi square of Nan’an district. The aim of the activity is helping Chongqing to build an international consumption center and a world-famous tourist destination by promoting a series of online and offline marketing activities.

On Dec 23, the event of“Convergence of Chongqing” is officially opened in Danzishi square of Nan’an district.

This activity is organized by the Chongqing Municipal Committee of Commerce, Chongqing Culture and Tourism Development committee, Alibaba Group, and co-organized by the Nan’an district government. With the theme of "Happy Tour in Chongqing, Happy Shopping in Chongqing", the activity exhibited the city image, cultural tourism brands, and featured commodities of Chongqing through live performance show and online live streaming recommendation.

On the show, a series of Chongqing style song and dance, opera, and intangible cultural heritage performances have been staged in succession, such as "The Impression of Wulong", the singing of "Chuan Jiang Hao Zi", and the intangible cultural heritage performance of the "Dazu Carp Lamp". Besides, the show promoted special scenic spots of Shizhu county, Yunyang county, Fengdu county, and other districts and counties, as well as local specialties of Chongqing such as Dried Bean Curd, Fengjie Navel Orange, Wujiang Mustard and so on.
