Chongqing Municipal Government Signs Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Chinasoft International

On December 23, Chongqing Municipal People’s Government entered a strategic cooperation agreement with Chinasoft International Limited, indicating that the latter’s specific business will be in full swing in this city. Specifically, Liangjiang New Area Administrative Committee and Chinasoft International reached the cooperation agreement of the Software Ecology Program of the Digital Belt and Road of Chinasoft International, thus facilitating Chongqing and Liangjiang New Area to forge top-ranking ecology for the development of software industry.

On Dec 23, Chongqing Municipal People’s Government entered a strategic cooperation agreement with Chinasoft International Limited.

Established in 2000 and listed in Hong Kong in 2003, Chinasoft International is one of the largest IT service enterprises in China.

According to the agreement, the program will be settled in Liangjiang New Area, and the international version of the JointForce (literal liberation) platform be operated there. Based on traditional software service outsourcing, a liaison office targeted for overseas markets of countries and regions along the Belt and Road will be established. Besides, the JointForce platform will be utilized to construct an online incubator and accelerator platform, thus supporting China’s software-related enterprises to go global, while bringing in foreign software players.

Meanwhile, through the JointForce platform, the program aims to offer management and technology consulting services to Liangjiang New Area in conducting IT projects, thus improving its project management competence, use efficiency of the monetary fund, quality of project delivery, and business environment.

Currently, Chongqing is vigorously implementing an action plan on innovation-driven development strategy led by big data intelligence, and building itself into an important city of smart manufacturing and a place renowned for the smart industry. In the first three quarters this year, the output of the digital economy of Liangjiang New Area is RMB 118.6 billion, a growth of 24.5%, marking an ever-stronger driving force of high-quality development.
