On December 31, the 1st Chongqing-Chengdu Tourism Sharing and Development Cooperation Activities officially settled in Chongqing. At the launching ceremony, the Two Sessions of Chongqing and Chengdu signed the strategic agreement of Chongqing-Chengdu Tourism Development Cooperation Activities. They released the first batch of 24 selected tourist routes that include tourist destinations in both cities.

Following the theme of Innovate Chongqing-Chengdu Cooperation to Promote Tourism Prosperity and with the recommendation of the 24 tourist routes as the core content, the Activities aims to unite tourism-related government departments, industry organizations, tourism marketing platforms, and travel agencies in the two cities to ally Chongqing-Chengdu tourism publicity, create classic routes for the whole country and form a unique local brand culture.
Release of 24 selected routes of “all-for-one tourism destinations.”
On December 31, the 1st Chongqing-Chengdu Tourism Sharing and Development Cooperation Activities officially settles in Chongqing.
At the launching ceremony, the first batch of 24 selected mature tourist routes with individual cultural deposits was released, and they make Chongqing and Chengdu the tourist destinations of each other. Senior travel experts carried out on-site promotion centering on tourist routes that feature food, accommodation, travel, tours, shopping, and entertainment in those destinations.
Innovative cooperation model of “Internet + live streaming + travel”
The Activities will last until May 2020. It aims to create excellent Chongqing-Chengdu tourist routes that are popular online through the innovative publicity model of “Internet + live streaming + travel” and create a brand new tourism models and tourism destinations through organizing the experience tour, tourism live streaming and the rural tourism and cultural consumption festival.
In this way, it could promote the development of the regional tourism economy and attain the goal of developing cultural tourism for the benefit of the people.
