Infection source gradually shifted from imported to local

Experts believe that the source of infection in newly confirmed cases has gradually shifted from imported to local, and the number of cases without a clear source of infection continues to increase.  Among the cumulative confirmed cases, more than 30 ones were from effective community checks, accounting for about 10% of the confirmed total.  So, community check and temperature detection in key places should be further strengthened.  In addition, please be aware of the risk virus spread through the fecal-oral route.

The Chongqing Municipal Health Commission reminded to attach great importance to community epidemic prevention and control, and achieve "early detection, early reporting, early isolation, and early treatment" to prevent the epidemic from being imported, spread, and exported.  Locals need to enhance family prevention and control awareness and prevent all kinds of family gathering activities, wear a mask in congested areas, pay attention to hand hygiene, get proper ventilation, avoid contact with animals (especially wild animals), poultry or their feces and seek medical treatment if there are suspicious symptoms.
