Chongqing- On February 19, the 7th bid of CRT Line 5 PhaseI was approved by the Jiulongpo District Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters and double-checked by Chongqing Security Management Station. The construction project was officially resumed. This is Chongqing's first resumed rail transit project under construction.

At present, the first batch of 27 staff in the project return to work, with epidemic prevention materials and construction materials are adequately prepared. All workers were trained in epidemic prevention and control knowledge before the resumption of construction. Moreover, everyone has his own dormitory to ensure that epidemic prevention and control are in place after the resumption.
At the same time, with the approval of the government of Longxing Town, Yubei District, the 6th and 7th bid of CRT Line 4 Phase II project management department received the notice of registration of resumption of work on February 20. On the same day, the project was officially resumed. This is also the first batch of resumption of bids for the second phase project of Line 4.
Workers must first take a series of inspection, monitoring, and disinfection measures
There is 129 staff return to work, and all of them are from Chongqing. Before entering the project site, these workers must first take a series of inspection, monitoring, and disinfection measures. They need to go through the steps of hand disinfection, wearing a sterilized helmet, body temperature-checking and wearing masks, and finally, can enter the atomization-disinfection area. For those people who come back to Chongqing, they need to take self-monitored quarantine for 14 days.
The construction project of CRT Line 4
At present, staff returning and safety training have been put in place. The managerial rate of project departments in each bidding section has reached 95%, a total of 401 people who come back to Chongqing, and 213 of them return to work. Eight hundred ninety-three laborers with working conditions have been implemented to meet the current resumption demand for work.
Besides, the CRT Line 4 is expected to open in 2022.
