China’s First Cross-Province High-Speed Ring Railway Opens

Moreover, C6017/8 from and to Chengdu East Railway Station started operation on April 10, C6012/1, from and to Guiyangbei on April 11.

At 8:10 of April 10, the C6107 train slowly departed from the No. 24 Platform of Chengdu East Railway Station. In the following 8 hours and 9 minutes, it stopped at such railway stations as Ziyangbei, Chongqing Xi (West), Zunyi, Guiyangbei, Bijie, Zhenxiong, Yibinxi, Leshan, and Meishandong. Finally, it returned to the Chengdu East Railway Station at 16:19. It marks that the Sichuan-Chongqing-Guizhou high-speed ring railway is officially put into operation.

China Railway Chengdu Group executes the operation program of Best Routes, One-stop Train by optimizing schedules and reducing the number of stops, in a bid to serve the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle and facilitate transportation among Chongqing, Chengdu, and Guiyang.

Departure times make commuting faster and more convenient

Each of the Chengdu-Chongqing, Chongqing-Guiyang, and Chengdu-Guiyang railways opens three pairs of special trains in the morning, at noon and in the evening, shortening the journey to 1.5, two and three hours respectively.

The three pairs of bullet trains running between Chengdu and Chongqing are:

G8781 from Chengdu East Railway Station and G8782 from Chongqingbei (North) Railway Station at 8:40;

G8785 from Chengdu East Railway Station at 13:00 and G8786 from Chongqingbei (North) Railway Station at 13:30;

G8789 from Chengdu East Railway Station at 19:40 and G8790 from Chongqingbei (North) Railway Station at 19:30.

All of these departure times are friendly to commuters.
