Xinhua reported that the first train of new postal rail service to Europe, loaded with much-needed medical supplies, arrived early Sunday in Vilnius, according to the Chinese Embassy in Lithuania. Launched by Southwest China's Chongqing Municipality, it is the first of its kind to Lithuania. The rail service aims to meet the rising demand for international parcel delivery amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to the regular press conference of the Foreign Ministry on April 10, the Chinese government has provided or is providing supplies to 127 countries and four international organizations, including surgical masks, protective gears, and testing reagents. China donated $20 million to the WHO, sent 13 medical teams to 11 countries, and held over 70 video conferences with experts from more than 150 countries and international organizations. Localities, enterprises, and civil groups in China also donated medical supplies to more than 100 countries, regions, and international organizations.

According to the report, no new country/territory/area reported cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. Moreover, the total global deaths from COVID-19 has surpassed 100 000.

And 98 of them were imported cases, bringing the total number of its kind to 1,378. Also on Sunday, 61 new asymptomatic COVID-19 cases were reported on the mainland, while 28 were confirmed of being infected with the virus and 55 were discharged from medical observation, according to the NHC. A total of 1,064 asymptomatic-infected patients were still under medical observation. The overall confirmed cases on the mainland had reached 82,160 by the end of Sunday, including 1,156 patients who were still being treated, altogether 77,663 patients who had been discharged after recovery, and 3,341 people who died of the disease. By Sunday, altogether 1004 confirmed cases including four deaths had been reported in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR), 45 confirmed cases in the Macao SAR, and 388 in Taiwan including six deaths. A total of 360 patients in Hong Kong, thirteen in Macao and 109 in Taiwan had been discharged from hospitals after recovery.
