On April 14, Chongqing Blockchain Innovation Alliance (the Alliance for short) was established, becoming the first provincial blockchain innovation alliance in China. On the same day, the city’s blockchain public service platform “Yu Express Chain” also came into use.

The Alliance aims to aggregate the potential energy of the blockchain industry, integrate public resources, and facilitate the circulation of elements of the industry, to serve regional economic development. More than one hundred blockchain enterprises, including Inspur, Tsinghua Unigroup, Huawei, and Baidu, have joined the Alliance. It embraces Chongqing’s enterprises, public institutions, social organizations, and other blockchain-related units. According to the resolution of the Alliance’s general assembly, Chen Xiaohong, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and other industry experts were employed as advisers to the Alliance, and Inspur was recommended to be its Chairman Unit.
The city’s blockchain public service platform “Yu Express Chain” came into use that day, which provides blockchain packaging technology for building a “platform+ecology” industrial chain. According to the introduction, the establishment of “Yu Express Chain” relied on the blockchain platform Inspur Blockchain Services (IBS), and it provides blockchain engine services and blockchain developing services. By the National Blockchain Application Innovation Competition and free blockchain platform services, “Yu Express Chain” gathers blockchain-related industries and enterprises to promote industrial agglomeration and high-quality development.
As Xiao Xue, Senior Vice President of Inspur and Chairman and CEO of Inspur Cloud, introduced that “Yu Express Chain” will achieve connectivity, innovation, and integration and truly promote the innovation of the blockchain industry through building a reliable “cloud+chain” framework.
