According to the headmistress, the flowers were more than a welcome gift but embedded with the school’s wish that all students can stay healthy, cherish the beautiful life, establish a right world view, and realize self-growth after the epidemic.

As required, the school divided the 2,221 students into five groups and asked them to return to school in two days separately.

Therefore, it formulated the 28 Measures of COVID-19 Prevention of Qiezixi Middle School, introducing anti-epidemic methods covering every aspect of school life based on relevant requirements of the Ministry of Education and the local government. The school will organize all students to participate in drills in batches in time.

Students of the Qiezixi Middle School have a picture Class Resumption Handbook, enabling them to understand epidemic prevention and control knowledge better. For example, the Handbook tells students that they should maintain a 1-meter distance from others and have temperature taken by infrared body temperature scanners when queuing for entering school; students with abnormal body temperature should be taken to the temporary quarantine area for observation; masks should be disinfected and changed; they should have temperature taken before entering classrooms.
