Recently, Chongqing Luohuang Port Co., Ltd. (Luohuang Port) and Sichuan Ya'an Transportation Construction Group Dry Port (Ya'an Dry Port) signed a strategic cooperation agreement on building together a commercial trade logistics hub in Chengdu and Western Sichuan that can connect the whole world.

Ya'an is a key transportation hub and a goods distribution center in the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle; Luohuang Port is a transportation hub port that integrates waterway, railway, and highway transportation and realizes seamless linkage with China Railway Express (Yuxinou) and Yangtze River Golden Waterway.
As per the agreement, the two sides will build together a main commercial trade logistics channel that is supported by arterial railways and highways and connects Chongqing and Ya'an, and a key hub that facilitates the goods of Western Sichuan to go global and the goods of foreign countries to enter Chengdu and Western Sichuan.
According to Li Xianglong, President of Luohuang Port, the partnership between Luohuang Port and Ya'an Dry Port can give full play to each other's geographical advantages and consolidate each other's resources in building commercial trade logistics system and multimodal transportation system that combines waterway, railway, and highway. In the future, Luohuang Port will maximize the role of Liangjiang New Area as a node connecting the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor to help Sichuan and Chongqing enterprises cut logistics costs and contribute together to the opening up of the whole western region.
