A total of 2,615 5G base stations have been built by June 30, and the first-stage task for 5G network construction accomplished thanks to the great importance attached, careful study, accurate arrangement and vigorous efforts by the district government of Yubei based on the spirit of the relevant video and telephone conference at the municipal level.

In this regard, Yubei District established a joint meeting system for 5G network construction and development. The district leaders convened five meetings dedicated to 5G network construction, ordering the investigation into it by relevant departments. Leaders of sub-districts, along with special teams, studied about the base stations faced with difficulties and solved problems on the spot through coordination.
A dedicated office has been established in Yubei District for accurate scheduling. A 5G network construction office has been set up under the joint meeting in the Big Data Development Bureau of the district, responsible for coordination concerning 5G network construction and development. An information reporting system has been built for daily clearing and weekly progress, a problem-related ledger created for regular updates and solutions, and a scheduling conference system developed for making decisions on the work related to 5G network construction every week and solving problems in real-time.
An online and offline synchronous science popularization mechanism has also been set up. The Joint Meeting Office has integrated the information about all towns, streets, and industrial parks, and instilled knowledge about the 5G base station radiation into the public through online and offline science popularization. It answered the questions from about 3,400 people on the spot, to remove doubts and ensure the smooth progress of 5G network construction.
