People Continue to Work in Chongqing under Hot Weather

According to the Chongqing Municipal Weather Press Conference in August 2020, during the day from August 4th to 8th, most areas will be sunny to cloudy, and there will be scattered thunderstorms or showers from noon to night, with temperatures ranging from 23 to 39°C, and the highest temperature in low altitude areas will exceed 40°C.

From the night of August 8th to the 10th, moderate rain to heavy rain in most areas, local heavy rain, temperature 22 ~ 35 ℃.

From August 11th to 13th, most areas will be cloudy with showers or thunderstorms in the local area, with temperatures ranging from 24 to 39℃, and the highest temperature in low altitude areas will still exceed 40℃.

It is expected that the temperature in August will be generally high and the high temperature will be prominent in stages. The extreme maximum temperature in ground and river valleys can reach 40~42℃, and the number of high temperature days exceeding 35℃ can reach 10-22 days in August.

On August 5, 2020, an inspection team was patrolling in the forest area of Xinzheng Village, Zhongliangshan Sub-district, Jiulongpo District. At present, in response to the consecutive hot and sunny weather in summer, the sub-district has organized a forest fire prevention emergency team consisting of 83 people.
