On August 8, the "Participate in National Fitness and Share the Joy of Ice and Snow-2020 National Fitness Day Ice and Snow Series activity" organized by the Chongqing Social Sports Guidance Center was held in Chongqing Jihua Park Indoor Ski Hall and the MixC Chongqing Indoor Ice Rink.
According to the Chongqing Social Sports Guidance Center, as the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics is getting closer, Chongqing is also launching popular and mass ice and snow events and activities to allow ice and snow sports to be carried out in Chongqing. Taking this as an opportunity, the 2020 National Fitness Day ice and snow series of activities will be held to attract more people to participate in the ice and snow sports.

This event is divided into a snow venue and an ice venue. Both venues have set up many ice and snow sports experience projects. In addition to setting traditional sports such as ice hockey, skating, and skiing, it also added many exciting activities experience: such as snow tug of war, Snow ring relay, snow tire, curling collision. Interestingly, many parents and citizens present have specific knowledge and understanding of ice and snow sports rules and some professional terms. Mr. Cheng, a local citizen, said: "I am a southerner who doesn't understand ice and snow sports at all. Later, my son fell in love with skating, and I took him to class every week. In addition, various media are vigorously promoting ice and snow sports. Over time, I become an expert."

From the head of the Chongqing Social Sports Guidance Center, this event is also one of the stops of Chongqing's ice and snow sports in 2020, with more than 60 families from the city participating. In the parent-child interactive experience, parents and children feel the charm and fun of ice and snow sports together. Through such experience activities, ice and snow sports are also integrated into the lives of Chongqing citizens.
