The street designed to reflect the life in Chongqing in 1980 is located on the fifth floor of Hongya cave. Themed on "Old City, Old Story, Reencountering Chongqing," it restores the street life in the 1980s in Chongqing, aiming to help visitors recollect the past street life and experience the old lanes in Chongqing. While immersed in the past, visitors can have fun, experience vintage chic, and enjoy immersive interactions.

Here, visitors can walk through the tube-shaped apartments amid vendors' hawking and drink a cup of tea in an open space.
The street consists of the inner city and the outer. The outer city is mainly composed of several scenes bearing the features in the 1980s, including the wholesale fruit market, the tube-shaped apartments in Bayi Road, Datong Street, Taipingmenhe Street, and Dayanggou Fair. Here, visitors can walk through the tube-shaped apartments amid vendors' hawking and enjoy a walk along Taipingmenhe Street; they can also drink a cup of tea in an open space, which will enable them to appreciate the distinctive lifestyles in the 1980s and 1990s while experiencing the leisure time of old Chongqing.
The downtown square restores Chongqing Department Store.
The inner city has significant scenes, including Chongqing Station, Zourong Road, and downtown square. There is a photo studio on Zourong Road, where old photos will remind visitors of past days, and they can also catch a glimpse of No. 5 Tram; the downtown square restores Chongqing Department Store, the widescreen cinema, and the original architectural style of the old Chongqing. It will help visitors recollect their childhood and precious times of the past.
Tickets will be available online on August 23. Visitors are free to visit the outer city but to enter the inner city, and they are required to buy tickets. The ticket is 58 yuan per person, and a special offer (29 yuan per person) will be given on an opening day.
