Chongqing’s First China-Korea Regular Passenger Flight Takes Off

On Sep. 5, the Chongqing-Seoul OZ3543/3533 flight took off at Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport. This is the first China-Korea regular passenger flight since Chongqing airports resume operation.

Chongqing has taken multiple measures against potential imported cases to support airlines to resume operation.

As more international flights are resumed, Chongqing General Station of Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection has thoroughly put in place the work plan of the National Immigration Administration, the joint prevention and control mechanism of Chongqing airports, and multiple tough measures against potential exported cases, to support airlines to resume operation.

In the check process, work has been done to keep real-time track of all flights, deploy the police force scientifically, prepare enough check channels promptly, handle emergencies such as violation of immigration epidemic containment policy efficiently and adequately, and realize closed-loop management throughout procedures from off-board quarantine and immigration check to categorized transfer. In the meanwhile, anti-epidemic equipment has been improved for onsite police, disinfection frequency of their working place increased and disinfection articles prepared at the inspection hall. By doing so, safe and efficient immigration clearance can be ensured and a favorable airport environment created for enterprises to resume work and operation and for Chongqing to jumpstart the economy as the passenger throughput goes up again.
