The person in charge of the Yubei District Medical Insurance Bureau introduced that the insured could go to a doctor and pay the medical bills at a hospital or buy medicine at drugstores by getting the QR codes scanned. They could also enjoy related online services like medical insurance information inquiry.

How to get an electronic medical insurance card? The insured can log into the third-party channels authorized by the medical insurance department, such as the national public service platform app, the app of Chongqing Municipal People's Government, and the WeChat official account and Alipay mini-program of Chongqing's medical insurance. After filling in and activating relevant personal information, they will conveniently get the electronic card. The physical card can still be used after the activation of the electronic card.
