Longta Subdistrict Elderly Care Service Center is a municipal-level demonstration of the elderly care service center newly built-in Yubei District, which has translated neighborhood elderly care into reality.

On the morning of November 2 at the service center, located in No.169 Zijing Road and now is in trial operation, many elderly people were doing exercise here, although it was rainy.
"There are professional staff and complete equipment. Lunch here only takes 15 yuan and comprises four dishes and one warm soup. So the services are very considerate," said Zhu Qinghua, a citizen who just walked in.
Covering an area of 5,666.7 square meters and a built-up area of 4,448 square meters, this upcoming service center currently has eight functional areas with 137 nursing beds, including a daily care area and an elderly nursing health management area, and a leisure and entertainment area. Therefore, it can provide diversified services such as rehabilitation, care, nursing, and meal assistance, and meet the needs of the elderly in the locality, such as short-term nursing and long-term care.
Catering to the needs of the elderly, it has introduced professional Chongqing Kaier Senior Apartment Management to coordinate the construction, operation, and service work of the whole project. Meanwhile, Longta Subdistrict offers guidance service and safety oversight following relevant regulations to ensure that all the policies are implemented as per the law.
As more, a public welfare project, this service center is an embedded community elderly care facility that integrates boarding care, daycare, home-based rehabilitation, cultural education, leisure and entertainment, and humanistic care.
In addition to providing complete elderly service equipment, it has cooperated with Longta Elderly University and social work organizations to organize manual class, calligraphy class, drawing class, music class, and other interest-oriented classes and all kinds of entertainment activities to bring more fun to the elderly people's life. Meanwhile, it has offered convenient and complete medical and health services for the elderly by utilizing a hospital management system and intelligent care system, introducing professional nursing teams, and cooperating with surrounding hospitals and Longta health service centers.
This service center has helped expand Longta Subdistrict's elderly care service network and built up Longta Subdistrict's public elderly care service guarantee system. In this system, one elderly care service center will cover 13 community elderly care service stations in the subdistrict to create a new elderly care model that combines "Internet, community elderly care and home-based elderly care" to the elderly people can enjoy professional-quality elderly care services at home.
