Phase I of the National Smart Healthcare Laboratory Experimental Platform was completed and put into use.
The laboratory strongly props up the unified national development in healthcare information, carries out tests on national healthcare information platforms, and bolsters the development, operation, and maintenance management of regional healthcare information platforms.
To boost healthcare services reform, the laboratory conducts innovative research and transformation of results of new technologies in smart healthcare and cultivates talented personnel in healthcare information.
Next, the laboratory will gradually carry out innovative research such as " electronic bills + blockchain" in healthcare and exert its key role in supporting and serving healthcare information's national development.
"By the end of this year, phase II of the program will kick off," said the relevant person in charge. The laboratory will further improve Chongqing's industry chain and innovation system in smart healthcare, thus catalyzing the building of "a powerhouse of smart manufacturing" and "a famous smart city."
At the exhibition hall of the laboratory, some expected scenes of smart healthcare are put on display. In the healthcare service area, patients can make appointment registration on their mobile phones, which can be done at home, saving their time from queuing up and waiting in the hospital. When asking for help from a doctor, patients can get their identity verified with the healthcare electronic certificates on their mobile phones or via face scanning on the doctor workstation platform. After giving a prescription, patients can also pay the fees and get the medicine in the same way.
In addition, progressive efforts have been made in the standardization of healthcare information, and the implementation and promotion of healthcare electronic certificates have been launched across the board.
Upon its completion, people who want to get insured only need to complete the identity authentication on their mobile phones and activate the healthcare electronic certificates. They can easily purchase drugs and seek medical treatment in pharmacies and hospitals.
