Chongqing - On the morning of November 27th, the First Summit on China Labor Education was held at the Chongqing Renmin School in Yuzhong District. This event also marked the establishment of the Chongqing Youth Labor Education Alliance.

Labor Education & A Better Future

Under the theme of "Talking about Labor Education and Creating a Better Future," special guests were invited to the summit to conduct special exchanges, roundtable forums, and sub-forums to carry out labor education in the new era and discuss important issues of labor education. Liu Xiangbing attended the summit, Secretary of the Party Committee of the China Institute of Labor Relations, Cao Zhixiang, Director of the Educational Equipment Research and Development Center of the Ministry of Education, Wei Shusheng, a well-known education reformer, and other education experts, and school principals from all over the country.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Ma Dailiang, Deputy Director of the Municipal Committee Propaganda Department and Director of the Municipal Civilization Office. Zhang Yuanhong, member of the Standing Committee of the Yuzhong District Party Committee, and both delivered welcome speeches.

"The convening of this conference will sound the clarion call for labor education in Chongqing." Xue Zhu, executive vice minister of the Publicity Department of the Chongqing Municipal Party Committee, said that contemporary young people are responsible for national rejuvenation and strengthen labor in universities, middle, and primary schools. Education is the inherent requirement of cultivating newcomers of the times and the inevitable way to nurture and practice socialism's core values. In this context, Chongqing has gathered excellent educational resources, built a platform for experience exchange, and explored the establishment of a minor labor education alliance.
