Under the agreement, the two sides will carry out all-round cooperation in such areas as transportation infrastructure connectivity in Chengdu and Chongqing, building a modern industrial system with complementary advantages and an inland international financial center, enhancing collaborative and innovative development, and developing inclusive finance projects to improve people's livelihood.
By identifying its own position and edges in the new development pattern, since the beginning of the year, Chongqing has made active moves to explore effective paths to integrate into the new development pattern, develop proper strategic plans, and take concrete measures in key areas, striving to do its best to serve the western area.
Finance plays a significant role in Chongqing's efforts to promote Chengdu and Chongqing's common development and integrate it into the "dual circulation".
The strong strength of BOC gives it a solid foundation for cooperation with Chongqing. The signing is expected to be a new starting point to deepen cooperation with Chongqing in various fields further and achieve win-win development.
"Chongqing plays an important and prominent role in the overall national development. It has made remarkable achievements in economic and social development, and is facing new major development opportunities," said Liu Liange, Chairman of BOC. He believes BOC has full confidence in Chongqing's future development.
BOC will earnestly implement the agreement, give full play to its own advantages to further meet Chongqing's development needs, increase the investment in Chongqing, and engage in developing Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle, and actively promote the development of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor.
